Anáil an Ama Breath of Time
There are moments when time seems to slow, when the noise of everyday life falls away and we become completely present.
Anáil an Ama captures one of those moments. The figure suspended on a swing carries something familiar from childhood, when time somehow felt more spacious and life less structured. Around him, butterflies emerge through shifting colour and darkness, suggesting movement, change, and the fleeting nature of those moments we wish we could hold onto.
For me, this painting is about remembering to pause. About the quiet clarity that can appear when, even briefly, we stop rushing towards whatever comes next and simply experience where we are.
